About this Event
Second Tuesdays at Artichoke Music.
For this one, we'll be digging into how to get into sync licensing and what it means to foster an inclusive, values-driven music community with special guest, Bri Brankin, Creative Sync Agent & Music Consultant for her business, Bridge and Chorus.
More about Bri: With a background in artist and business management, along with sync licensing experience at Marmoset, ProTunes, and 411 Music Group, Bri has secured placements in national and global ad campaigns for Fortune 500 brands, and worked with major streaming networks on music for TV, film, and promos. She is dedicated to fostering an inclusive, values-driven creative community and is actively exploring new opportunities that uplift artists, spark innovation, and bridge music, tech, and media.
WHAT IS NIGHT OWL?From booking and finding work to gigging and managing mental health, etc., women and gender expansive music professionals experience shared barriers to success and are still wildly underrepresented in the industry. We deserve a collaborative, peer-designated space where we can support each other as we navigate our careers. Let's challenge the systems that work against our success and reimagine more sustainable, equitable business models for us in music.
Musician/Music Advocacy Council member Renée Muzquiz will host a brief live guest interview with women and GE music advocates about topics affecting us in the industry. This will be followed by an open discussion where we'll brainstorm and share resources around that topic. Come early to grab a drink to support Artichoke, network and catch up with friends you don't get to see while we're all working.
This event is made possible in part from a grant from The Autzen Foundation and support from Artichoke Community Music
