Join us for Night of the Senses, the poetic and performative A Curious Town festival closing party. This immersive event promises a feast for all your senses, extending beyond traditional sights and sounds to tantalising taste, touch, and smell.
Each ticket includes a welcome drink and an option to pre-purchase a flavourful sensory platter with vegan and veggie options.
Our event features hosts of immersive experiences:
- Poetry Brothel Hastings: Debra Watson and Naomi Wood guide you through a multisensory poetical journey.
- The Sound Apothecary: Experience vibrational healing as Maria's crystal singing bowls transport you through a Sound Bath immersion.
- Rosy Pendlebaby: Rosy brings history to life, immersing her audience in the smutty words of yesteryear, sourced from real-life lovers' correspondences.
- Valerie Lightheart: Spiritualist and interpreter of otherworldly messages, Val communicates through expressive charades, dance, and mime, guiding guests towards deeper understanding.
- Pupin DeVert: Hastings own Silver-Haired Showgirl loves to show the world that burlesque is for EVERYONE and that older performers have the sass, creativity and sexiness to shine in the burlesque scene.
- Naomi Wood: Witness Naomi's ethereal aerial hoop acrobatics that will leave you spellbound.
Top off the night with musical performances by:
- ASHKAT: Enjoy the captivating alt-pop melodies of Brighton's ASHKAT, weaving human experiences through her powerful-familiar lyrics.
- Artemisia: Let Artemisia's ethereal harp melodies, rooted in Celtic and Hellenic backgrounds, carry you through time.
