We invite you to come and bring a friend for a “Night of Praise & Worship”, Thursday, October 16th, 7:30-8:30pm, Fellowship Hall, in the Presbyterian Church Church House.We have a band of gifted professional musicians coming to lead the evening. We will be gathering to sing popular favorites from the contemporary Christian music scene - both more recent and some that have been around for quite a while. We might even sneak in a band version of a popular hymn or two….just to give fresh expression to something familiar.
The songs we have chosen speak into a troubled soul and a troubled world, and remind us that it’s messy, but God is working for us. These songs often come from a place of another’s experience of God’s grace and mercy that they want to share with you, and Pastor Katja can’t wait to tee-up some of our singing on Oct. 16th with a few of those stories. And yes, we’ll have prayer and some words for reflection in there too.
If you are feeling anxious about the state of things in your own life or in the world, this is a wonderful opportunity to reconnect with how God is moving in you and among us.
