The tradition of telling ghost stories at Yule/Christmastime goes back centuries—first mentioned by Shakespeare, then made famous by Dickens’ A Christmas Carol, eventually weaving its way into 1900s holiday culture and even classic carols like It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year. Though largely forgotten today, it once stood beside feasting and gift-giving as a beloved Winter custom.
This year, Priestess Renée at Witchcraft District Bazaar is reviving the tradition. Join us for a delightfully eerie evening of seasonal ghost tales shared by a variety of Storytellers! *Please Note: For those coming in person, please bring a reasonably sized chair—comfortable, but not oversized, reclining, rocking, etc.
A complimentary snack like popcorn will be available and perhaps a beverage with a dash of spirits. Quantities will be limited. You are welcome to bring your own snack and beverage if you'd prefer.
Free to attend with optional donations appreciated. In-store seating is extremely limited — but for those unable to be here in person or outside the Witchcraft District, a Zoom option will be available.
