March 13th at Fontainebleau State Park Visitor's Center. Meet at 6:30pm, hike begins at 7:00pm. $3 entrance fee to park. Discover the hidden world that awakens after sunset!
Join Louisiana Master Naturalist Stefanie Collins Head and Pelican Park Master Naturalist Alex Landry as they lead the Pelican Park Nature Club through a night hike around Fontainebleau State Park. We'll get a chance to observe crepuscular (active around dawn and dusk) critters during their most active time. We will cover approximately 1.5 miles.
Please bring a flashlight or head lamp and water. There will be a small number of flashlights and headlamps available for loan.
Long pants and long sleeves are recommended. Close toed shoes are required- please no sandals!
