About this Event
Night at the Museum
Families are invited to step into an evening of imagination and discovery as the Children’s Museum of Idaho presents “A Night at the Museum” on Saturday, April 11 from 5:30–7:30 p.m.
During this special after-hours event, the museum will come alive with costumed characters, interactive storytelling, and hands-on educational activities throughout the exhibits. Children will have the opportunity to meet characters inspired by the museum’s exhibits and explore science, history, and creativity in a playful and immersive way.
Guests can pan for gems with miners at the Mining Sluice, meet a paleontologist at the Dino Dig, explore space in the STEM Room, and encounter pirates aboard the Pirate Ship. Visitors may also meet Amelia Earhart near the museum’s airplane exhibit, visit Mother Goose in Toddler Town, interact with astronauts in the Kid Planetarium, and meet therapy dogs in the Vet Clinic.
Additional experiences include builders, pioneers, conductors, eco-superheroes, and even the Tooth Fairy appearing throughout the museum’s exhibits.
“This event is a wonderful way for families to experience the museum in a completely different way,” said museum representatives. “Children will meet characters who bring the exhibits to life while discovering the stories, science, and creativity behind them.”
The event is sponsored by CapEd Credit Union.
Tickets are limited and expected to sell out.
