A 15 éve bemutatott NieR videojáték – a rajongók és kritikusok véleménye szerint is – kiváló zenéjét Keiichi Okabe szerezte. A jubileum megünneplésére a különlegesen egyedi hangzásvilágú számokat újra hangszerelte zongorára, és nemzetközi koncertsorozattal mutatja be a rajongóknak Benyamin Nuss tolmácsolásában.
Benyamin Nuss 1989-ben született Németországban a nemzetközileg ismert jazz harsonás Ludwig Nuss fiaként és már hat éves korában elkezdett zongorázni tanulni. A kölni konzervatóriumban fejezte be zenei tanulmányait, de már addigra is több díjat nyert, később pedig a figyelme a jazz és komolyzene mellett a videójátékok zenéi felé fordult. Már első saját lemezén is a Final Fantasy játékoknak köszönhetően világhírűvé vált Nobuo Uematsu szerzeményeit értelmezte újra, az ezt követő években pedig résztvevője volt több, a Final Fantasy sorozathoz kapcsolódó koncert turnénak is. A műfajokon átívelő zenei képzettsége és a videójátékok iránti nyitottsága adott számára megfelelő hátteret ahhoz, hogy a NieR szokatlan szerzeményeit is hűen tudja tolmácsolni a közönség számára.
