Nicholas Brust presents a multi-generational group of Boston's finest featuring up-and-coming stars! The show will emphasize high energy straight-ahead jazz highlighting lesser-played standard jazz repertoire and original compositions by members of the band.

Nicholas has found his niche as a bandleader and sideman, taking advantage of the numerous textures and combinations available in the traditional jazz small-group format. Brust has performed and/or recorded with numerous highly acclaimed musicians, including Lage Lund, Gilad Hekselman (with bassist Jon Latona), Mark Ferber (with pianist Francesca Prihasti), The Peter Silver Big Band (sharing the stage with Roy Hargrove, Jimmy Owens, Steve Wilson and others), guitarist Ben Eunson, Kristina Koller (appearing in her Quintet at the 2020 NYC Winter Jazz Fest), and many others. Nicholas is currently on faculty at New England Conservatory as part of its Prep/Continuing Education division in addition to being an Artslink Teaching Artist for Berklee College of Music’s City Music program. Having released 2 albums as a leader, Nicholas recently recorded a third that he plans to release in 2027.
