Niccole Meza Quartet
Venezuelan trumpeter Niccole Meza brings a vibrant blend of jazz and Latin jazz to the stage, shaped by her Berklee studies and international performances. Raised in a musical family, she developed her voice early and has already appeared at major festivals and collaborations with acclaimed artists. Her music combines lyrical sensitivity, bold improvisation, and the rich rhythmic spirit of Latin jazz.

BIO:
Niccole Meza, is a Venezuelan jazz and Latin jazz trumpeter currently studying at Berklee College of Music. Raised in a musical family, she began her formal jazz training at the age of seven and quickly distinguished herself for her musical sensitivity and strong stage presence.
Early in her career, she was selected to join Pandijazz, recognized as the first children’s jazz band in Latin America, where she developed a solid foundation in improvisation and ensemble performance. In 2018, she represented Venezuela at the International Jazz Festival in Oslo, Norway, marking one of her first major international appearances.
After relocating to the Dominican Republic, Niccole continued expanding her presence in the jazz and Latin jazz scene, performing in multiple jazz festivals throughout the country, including the renowned Cabarete Jazz Festival, where she was invited to share the stage with Arturo Sandoval.
In early 2024, she toured Brazil as part of the Cuba–Venezuela–Brazil Cultural Encounter, presenting eleven concerts across different cities and collaborating with international artists. Throughout her career, she has also shared the stage with acclaimed musicians such as Néstor Torres, Mike Stern, and members of Juan Luis Guerra’s ensemble.
In 2023, she earned a scholarship through Berklee’s international programs in Santo Domingo, supported by distinguished Dominican musicians including Michel Camilo and Juan Luis Guerra. She continues to develop her artistic voice through performance, collaboration, and bringing a dynamic blend of jazz tradition and Latin influences to every stage.
