Due to the overwhelming response to my recent post, I’m hosting an in-person meetup to explain what we are sharing in Nicaragua and to meet people face-to-face.This is not a beginner surf camp or a “surf experience” vacation. What we do is for surfers who are genuinely fired up — about surfing, training, culture, music, time together, and staying the course over years, not days.
I’ve lived in Nicaragua for 21 years and run a world-class surf training facility in town with:
• Sauna & ice plunges
• Lap pool running through the building
• Breathwork & apnea training
• Dedicated yoga and training floors
• Private surf-skate park (Carver)
• Surf guides, great internet, and real long-term living infrastructure
Whether someone is a beginner or advanced surfer, I love working with people who want to train, rebuild their body, improve technique, and live surf culture fully — often for one-week, one-month, or extended stays. Many who come end up staying much longer and returning year after year.
I don’t plan to expand this into something big or commercial. I work in focused seasons, keep it personal, and build long-term relationships with a small group of committed surfers — coaches, creatives, athletes, and people who truly love the lifestyle.
I’ve been trying to personally call everyone who reached out (and will continue to), but between helping my mom with medical appointments and limited time in California, an in-person gathering made the most sense.
At this meetup, I’ll:
• Share my background and why I’ve stayed the course
• Show what the facility and town are really like
• Explain who this is — and is not — for
• Answer questions and connect personally
If you’re curious, come by. No pressure, no sales pitch — just real conversation and connection.
