JOIN US FOR A FUN & CHALLENGING HIKE!This hike is one of my favourites and a very enjoyable and challenging hike. With such beautiful views and amazing lookout points, you'll have some amazing gorgeous photos by the whirlpool to show off to all your friends and family! Make sure your phone is fully charged, as you'll be taking lots of photos!
Here is what to expect:
-10km or less - technical hike loop suitable for intermediate-level hikers
- forested paths with areas that are really going to work your legs and glutes
- technical hiking over tree roots and lots and lots of rocks
- 238m elevation gain
- lunch by the whirpool (bring your own lunch)
- clean washrooms at the Niagara Glen nature centre
- hiking spots include some steep climbs and a rope climbing section
What you need to bring:
- wear hiking shoes/hiking boots (check the weather before you leave)
- pack at least 8 cups of water or beverage
- lunch and snacks
- Optional: hiking poles
The terrain is rocky. Be prepared for all conditions on trail including mud.

Park at the Niagara Glen Nature centre

MEETING TIME:
We start at 11am. I will guide everyone through a warmup and then we will start the hike.
REGISTRATION REQUIRED - 30 SPOTS
This meetup will be capped at 30 spots. To join, please reserve a spot by sending the meetup fee as outlined below:

5 Day Hiking Pass: $155
Can be used on ANY 5 hikes (valid up to $35 value for all hikes until December 31st, 2026 + bring ONE guest free). Everyone who registers for the 5 day hiking pass also receives a FREE yearly calendar and smoothies recipe book.
Note: once you confirm your spot and your name is added to the list, a session is counted. Please keep track of your hikes.
