About this Event
The NHIT Community Health Innovation Summit: Puerto Rico 2026 is a patient-centered, community-driven forum designed to bridge innovation, public health, and community voice. The Summit brings together patient advocates, providers, researchers, community leaders, innovators and health experts to advance AI-enabled care, remote monitoring, digital health solutions, and clinical research in underserved communities.
This is not a passive forum — it is a structured, action-oriented convening designed to elevate patient experience, surface community priorities, and translate them into concrete recommendations that feed directly into the NHIT Legislative Summit on July 21, 2026.
Held in Puerto Rico and co-convened with the Puerto Rico Science, Technology & Research Trust, this Summit positions the Island as a national model for translating innovation pipelines, public health programs, and community-led strategies into patient-centered outcomes — with insights that travel from San Juan to Washington, DC.
