About this Event

The NHIT Congressional Roundtable brings together policymakers, public health leaders, and healthcare stakeholders to address the pressing challenges and opportunities in rural health. This interactive discussion will focus on health innovation, AI-ready workforce development, the critical role of providers, and advancing population health equity. Participants will explore how data-driven solutions, telehealth, remote monitoring, and inclusive clinical trials can transform access to care for underserved communities. Insights gathered will directly inform the agenda for the upcoming NHIT Legislative Summit, guiding actionable policy and investment priorities.


The objectives of this NHIT Congressional Roundtable are:

Illuminate the transformative potential of Agentic AI, supercomputing, and innovation hubs in reshaping government, healthcare, and economic infrastructure


Identify Critical Workforce and Provider Challenges

● Examine the most pressing shortages of healthcare providers and practitioners in rural communities and explore strategies to strengthen the AI-ready public health workforce.

Explore Innovative Solutions to Advance Rural Health Equity

● Discuss the application of AI, telehealth, remote monitoring, and population health initiatives to improve access, care quality, and outcomes for underserved populations.

Inform Policy and Legislative Priorities

● Gather actionable insights to shape the NHIT Legislative Summit agenda, focusing on digital inclusion, provider support, and policies that promote health equity and population health in rural areas.
