🎭 AUDITIONS NOW OPEN: Next to Normal (Fringe 2026) 🎭Bare Productions is casting our 2026 Edinburgh Fringe production of Next to Normal — and we want to hear from you.
Next to Normal is a raw, emotionally charged musical that explores the impact of mental illness on a seemingly typical family. At its heart is Diana — a mother living with bipolar disorder — and the ripples her illness sends through her husband, daughter, and the memory of a son who’s never entirely gone.
With a six-person cast and a soaring rock score, the show dives deep into grief, love, memory, and what it means to live with (and beyond) trauma. It’s intimate, intense, and unforgettable — the kind of story that stays with you long after the final note.

Begin mid-March 2026 (Tues evenings + occasional weekends)

7th–15th August at Paradise Green (Edinburgh Fringe 2026)
💡 This is an amateur production, created by a Community Interest Company (CIC) — which means roles are unpaid, but the process is supported, inclusive, and driven by a professional-standard creative team.
All roles are open to performers of all backgrounds, identities, and experience levels. We’re especially keen to hear from people who connect personally with the themes of the show and are excited to tell this story with care, nuance, and courage.
