About this Event
Workshop on Circular Economy given by HOLON and aimed at young designers or design students, aged 18-30, to learn a methodology around the application of circularity concepts in their projects.
Based on two case studies, one based on a food packaging company and the other on a textile company, we will learn and put into practice in a ‘sprint’ format the different stages of a circular design process (research, ideation, prototyping… ), exploring reuse models, traceability (digitalisation) and return systems and their consequences on product design and business model, servitised business models, their environmental and business advantages as well as the design principles they impose.
The workshop is part of Next Gen Design, a European project that aims to contribute to a more sustainable future through design, in line with the principles of the European Green Pact, calling for collaboration between young people and the design community.
