Rediscover Your Strengths and Skills

Are you aged 55+? Out of work or struggling to find a job? Looking to develop your skills and connect with support organisations?

We're launching a free 4 month programme designed specifically for men aged 55+ who are unemployed or actively seeking work.Led by Age UK B&NES in partnership with expert community organisations including the Cool Ventures, Skills Connect and Bath College, plus many more. This programme brings together the best support available in our area to help you on your journey back to work, into volunteering, or discovering new opportunities.

What you'll get

Attend monthly half-day workshops where you'll develop your wellbeing, confidence, learning, and job-seeking skills in a welcoming, non-stigmatised space. Each session focuses on practical skills and knowledge to support your job search and personal development.You'll find support, guidance, and connection with others who understand your experience.
Who Can Attend?These sessions are open to men aged 55+ who are unemployed or actively seeking work. We ask for a commitment to all 6 sessions.
There are 15 free places available.Did you know? If you're on Jobseeker's Allowance, you can volunteer for up to 6 months while still claiming your benefits.
