About this Event
On the evening of Saturday 14th March, Newnham Feminist Society is hosting a charity ball in collaboration with the Cambridge University Dance Sport Team! There will be a string quartet, live music, demonstrations on ballroom and tango dance styles, dance cards, and more!
People who purchase a ticket will recieve a free drink token. The Iris Bar will also be open throughout the night!
All profits raised will go towards Becky’s Button, a charity launched by Newnham alumna, Jane Houng. Becky's Button aims to educate young people and their communities on the global issue of gender-based violence. One of the ways they do this is through providing practical safety tools, such as their personal safety alarms, the Becky's Button.
