Hand2Mouth’s New2You Festival will play March 27-April 4 in the Annex at PICA (Portland Institute for Contemporary Art), https://www.pica.org/, 15 NE Hancock St, PDX. This year’s festival will explore the theme “body & technology.” Tickets $15-$40

Nine new original works will be presented throughout the 9-day festival by an eclectic group of local generative artists:
•The new devising theatre company Trick Pony composed of Emily Laue, Adam Fleming, and London Bauman will premiere the work, “Soft Machine.”
•Movement and performance artist Olga Kravtsova (who presented Harvest of Woman last summer at CoHo) is working with Piper Francis to create the work “KEEPERS.”
•Devising artist Rui Dun is working with director Rachel Zimmerman to share a personal story between a mother and daughter called “Mama’s Emoji.”
•Maia McCarthy, a Hand2Mouth alum who has been previously featured in Home/Land and 24H2M, will premiere a solo work called “Assessment Tools.”
•Company member and drag performance artist Pepper Pepper will bring a further exploration of their work Drag Animism and the Cyborg Sissy to life in a new piece called, “A Cyborg Sissy.”
•Peruvian artist featured in Hand2Mouth’s 2024 work Memento Mori, Nurys Herrera, will return to the stage with a solo piece called "System Check.”
•Nathalie Owen FitzSimons, a graduate of Dell'Arte International, will present a horror-inspired work called, “The Surgery.”
•Sound Designer/Director Daye Thomas and writer/performer Dylan Hankins, who was in Hand2Mouth’s BANNED last spring, are teaming up to premiere ‘The Parallax View.”
•Hand2Mouth’s 2026 Youth Devising Residency ensemble (ages 14-18) is sharing an original work featuring an exploration of artificial intelligence titled, “ENTER YOUR PROMPT HERE <____________>.”
