New Zealand Flax Basket Weaving - Tuesday, July 28th / 5 p.m. with Sophie Haber ([email protected]) Location: Westlake Park - 149-111 Bradley Dr
Description: We will weave small baskets using a mixed methods with New Zealand flax leaves. I will talk about my relationship to this plant through my experiences weaving in Chile and New Zealand with traditional weavers there. I will prep the material before the class and have it ready. Bring a flat surface to weave on, at least 1ftx1ft. Please email to confirm you are coming so we have enough materials ([email protected]).
Materials: I will gather the materials and all preparations will be done in class.
