New York’s Finest Tribute to Sting & The Police is a live musical tribute to the hit songs of the 70’s and 80’s iconic Rock artists Sting & The Police. NYF was founded on a dare for a classic album tribute night in New York City. The Challenge: “Can you guys perform The Police’s 1st album?” Challenge accepted!
NYF’s tribute steers concert fans through The Police’s early punk era and evolves to the more sophisticated material of their later records and Sting’s solo Catalog. NYF stays true to the 3 band member line up of The Police while they tap into the signature style of the funky reggae pop rock fusion that Sting & The Police made a global phenomenon.
