Bringing the groove & timeless classic funk back to the dance floor!
Souled Out Funk is a 10-member musician funk band, featuring a 5-piece horn section, 'Funkafize Horns', high-powered rhythm section & soulful vocals.
The band was originally formed in 1998 as Whatever Works. In 2023 Musical Director, Todd Eggebraaten added his son Grant, & daughter Noël, renaming the group Souled Out Funk. This addition has set them apart and captivated the crowd by bringing an infusion of energy & family vibe to the stage & dance floor.
The band has a brand-new member in Marley Quinn, who joins Doug Rothaus on vocals. Marley is a dynamic & powerful, harmony forward, vocalist of 15 years who has performed in renowned venues across Los Angeles, Santa Barbara & Seattle.
From their driving rhythm section, searing guitars & powerful ‘Funkafize Horns’ to their soulful vocalist’s, Souled Out brings over 25 years of exceptional musicianship to the stage serving up joy, smiles & good times from kids to seniors.
Souled Out brings you AUTHENTIC funk with a side of disco & rock from classic hits to modern grooves. Vibes of Soul, Funk, Rock & Disco from the 60’s - 00’s & beyond will keep the crowd on their feet & dancing to favorites by Stevie Wonder, Tower of Power, Bruno Mars, Huey Lewis, Wild Cherry, Aretha Franklin, Sade, Jimi Hendrix, KC & The Sunshine Band, Chicago, James Brown, The Commodores, as well as a few old school favorites.
