New Year's Eve on the Waterfront Ice Sculpture Stroll
Boston Harbor Now is proud to present our 13th annual New Year's Eve on the Waterfront Ice Sculpture Stroll with more than 40 sculptures on display!
On New Year's Eve, Boston's waterfront will be transformed into a magical winter wonderland with unique and interactive ice sculptures in neighborhoods from Revere Beach all the way down to the Seaport. Grab a map, pick a starting point, and start strolling!
When: December 31, 2025 | 1:00PM - 5:00PM

Registration is *not* required to participate in this free outdoor event. Eventbrite RSVP will allow you to receive any special event updates plus one entry into the Waterfront Staycation Giveaway Contest!

New Year's Eve Midnight Fireworks
Ring in the New Year with midnight fireworks over Boston Harbor, presented by Meet Boston as part of First Night Boston by Conventures.
Suggested viewing locations:
- Christopher Columbus Park
- Harborwalk at Fan Pier in Seaport
- The East Boston waterfront
Getting Here
Ice sculptures are located close to transit stations across all major subway lines. Visit Courthouse (Silver Line), Aquarium (Blue Line), Maverick (Blue Line), Haymarket (Green / Orange Lines) or South Station (Red Line) for a short walk to ice sculptures and the Boston Harborwalk. Check out the MBTA website for service information.
We highly recommend using public transportation, ride share, biking, or walking to view the Ice Sculptures and Midnight Fireworks, but some recommended parking locations are below:
- Atlantic Wharf Parking – 280 Congress Street
- Post Office Square Garage –112 Congress St
- Lewis Wharf Parking – 641 Lewis Wharf
