Welcome in the New Year in a nourishing way, in the way you mean to go on. Intentionally let go of whatever you want to leave behind you in 2023 and set your intention for the New Year ahead. Whether this will be your first experience of Cacao in a ceremonial way, or if you’re a seasoned Cacao drinker, all are welcome for this heart-opening sacred evening. Start the New Year with clarity, focus and peace.

How the evening will run:
We will begin the evening in the beautiful and spacious studio space ‘The Green Room’, Hampstead, just on the edge of Hampstead Heath. You will each receive a cleansing, and we will focus on intention-setting for the year ahead. We will be drinking the Cacao here in a sacred setting, followed by the opportunity for optional improvised/intuitive movement release (or a snuggle corner for those craving rest and stillness). After 11pm we will close the sacred space and for those wanting to continue we will be joining the crowds of revellers on Parliament Hill, Hampstead Heath (5-minute walk from the studio) for one of the best spots in London to welcome in the New Year with a joyous countdown as we take in the glorious panoramic vista of London and it’s plethora of sparkling fireworks! We will end the evening here as a group, with our hearts full and our minds clear in intention for the year ahead.
8:45 PM - 9:15 PM Arrival
Please ring "The Green Room" doorbell on arrival. Come in, get comfy, get settled. If you think you may be running late please text Imogen directly 07712 421 368. Once we open the ceremony there will be no more admittance possible.
9:15 PM-9:30 PM Welcome and Introduction
Imogen will explain how the evening will run, what to expect and answer any questions.
9:30 PM - 11:00 PM Sacred Cacao Ceremony
Time to set intentions including what you wish to let go of and how you wish to move forward. Setting clear intention for the ceremony and the opportunity to ask for guidance - Drinking the Cacao in ceremony - An opportunity for rest, journaling or movement as you feel it, each experience is unique.
11:00 PM- 11:30 PM Closing the Ceremony
We will close down the space with gratitude for what we have received. You will have the opportunity to share with others and feel part of the community we have created.
11:30 PM - 12:30 AM Optional Fireworks & Countdown Afterparty!
For those who wish to continue we will be walking together (5 min walk) to the top of Parliament Hill on Hampstead Heath to join the crowds to count in the New Year together and take in one of the best views of London as the skies fill with celebratory fireworks. A special end to a special evening!
What to bring: (optional, but advised)
- Warm clothes for the optional Heath countdown celebration
- A bottle or flask of water
- Notebook and something to write/draw with
- Warm socks
- Optional post-ceremony snack (you may be peckish after dancing)
- Cosy blanket
- A small torch/headlamp or you can use the torch on your phone
- Boots or shoes you don’t mind getting muddy

There is free on-street parking, however, for ease of exit you may want to park on the surrounding streets as the bottleneck by Hampstead Heath Overground can get really jammed up on NYE.

About your Host:
Shamanic Healer, Imogen Kirk-Reynolds, will be holding space and guiding you through the evening. She has over a decade of experience in Energy Medicine and was initiated into the Rainbow Light School of Shamanic Medicine in the Amazon jungle, Peru, in 2018 where she met Cacao in a powerful way, this deepened with her Shamanic training in Bacalar, Mexico in 2021 where she learnt the Mexican tradition of Cacao ceremony. She now runs a London practice as “The Healing Nutritionist” in Energy Healing (Spiritual Healing and Shamanic Healing) and Naturopathic Nutrition, as well as teaching Intuitive Development, giving talks on Women’s Health and running Retreats.
