About this Event
Ready to start your year off right? Join us for an afternoon retreat on the first Sunday of the new year! We will practice βwinteringβ together. Taking our cue from this first season of the year, we will practice healing through rest and renewal. We will rewild ourselves to be in sync with the rhythms of the season, as we take insight from the natural world. If you push yourself to exhaustion, live in burnout, feel pressure to say yes to everything, or are at a standstill as you come to the end of life-as-you-know-it, come learn to βwinterβ with us!
This retreat is lead by mindfulness teacher, psychologist, and author Amy Balentine, owner of the Memphis Center for Mindful Living, LLC. The center offers therapy as well as yoga and meditation classes and retreats. Karla Ingram is the yoga instructor for this retreat, a certified Iyengar instructor who leads yoga at the center at at other yoga centers in town. She is the owner of Block and Bolster Yoga.
