Come join us as we break out of our usual routines to embrace the spirit of discovery, focusing on Slovenia, Lebanon, and Georgia—regions that offer incredible quality and value by operating outside the traditional mainstream.
We’ll start by returning to the basics, refining our tasting techniques to ensure we’re catching every subtle note in these unique bottles. From there, we’ll apply those skills to explore the ancient amphorae traditions of Georgia, the high-altitude elegance of Lebanon, and the mineral-driven gems of Slovenia.
Whether you're a wine novice or a connoisseur, this class is perfect for anyone looking to expand their knowledge and appreciation of wine. Our expert Wine Educator, Beth Bornstein from West Side Grapes, will guide you through a tasting of 3 different colors of wine, along with some tasty appetizers, teaching you how to properly taste and evaluate each one. You'll learn about different winemaking methods, as well as different styles, expressions and flavors in wine.
