Jazz on Main Street-GNV is a community-centered jazz series co-founded by musicians Blanche “Jahmie” Williams and Kevin Brown. Inspired by the legacy of after-hours jam sessions. The series offers a space for jazz innovation, collaboration, and connection inside the Gainesville Fine Arts Association Gallery (GFAA). Guided by the motto “Life intersects, Jazz Connects,” the program celebrates both the rich history and vibrant future of live jazz.
Jazz on Main Street kicks off the New Year, Thursday, JANUARY 15 at 7pm-10pm. Local professional and college Jazz musicians are welcome to sign up and join the JAM. $10 the door cash or Venmo/Cashapp
