Come and welcome the New Year with us at the Contemplative CI Retreat!Set in a cosy retreat venue at the north-west of the Czech Republic, embraced by a gentle winter landscape, the retreat offers a nourishing space for CI dancers who wish to spend the end-of-year transition resting, wintering, contemplating, exploring… and dancing together.
The retreat is bringing together Contact Improvisation and Contemplative practices, inviting Silence to be the core and the ground of our exploration.
To us, being in silence is not only about giving up verbal communication and social patterns of interactions, but also daring to drop deeper – and letting our body-mind be suffused by silence.
Wondering further – and witnessing what emerges when we soften beyond our habitual ways of relating and let the silence imbue our minds, breathe our bodies, touch our hearts…
Could we become silence?
Could silence speak through us?
Could silence move us?
Could we we stay in touch with the essence of silence when entering the words?
