About this Event
Set an intention and learn practices that will bring ease to 2024 with this New Year’s Eve yoga and meditation session. This year was likely filled with challenges and joys – personal ones and in the collective (war, natural disasters, and chaos of all kinds.) During this practice we’ll welcome all of it, do some journaling reflections and give you some mindfulness tools you can use during the rest of the year! Join Nicole in order to reflect on your past year, set an intention for the new year and spend much-needed time in an ease-filled yoga practice that will leave you inspired and ready to start the new year making space for more ease!
Nicole will lead a deep, yet accessible, two-hour New Year’s Eve yoga practice that will include gentle movement, restorative yoga (the laying around kind) and guided meditation. Believe that it is possible to emerge from this online experience rested, restored and filled with the possibility of a more restful year.s
Wear comfortable clothes and find a quiet space in your house with a yoga mat, two blankets, two pillows, and a journal and something to write with. The practice will benefit you whether you are new to yoga or a seasoned practitioner.
About Nicole: Nicole delights in bringing yoga and mediation to ALL BODIES who think they are not flexible enough for yoga and their mind too jumpy for mediation. We do these practices to bring ourselves some real rest so that we can creatively resist grind culture. She is a 500-hour Registered Yoga Instructor who loves to teach a slow flow, blended with restoratives and guided meditation. She has a background in trauma-sensitive yoga and yoga for youth, and is a reiki master. Nicole is the founder of the Defy the Trend community that uses group coaching, restorative yoga, and a supportive community to prevent and recover from burnout.
