Montcalm Habitat has renovated a home next to the ReStore that will become the location of our new Transitional Housing Program. We are excited to show off the property that our dedicated volunteers have worked hard to renovate for us. Additionally, the ReStore will also have an open house at the same time. This will be a great time for our community to tour and learn all about the Habitat program and services.
We are very honored to be honoring the past core volunteers of Montcalm Habitat by dedicating the new Transition Home in their honor. Please join us as we celebrate their long commitment to the mission of Montcalm Habitat.
Our Transitional Housing Program is designed to provide a safe place for future Habitat homeowners to stay while we work with them on their budgeting and financial fitness training, preparing them for the responsibility of home ownership. They will continue to stay there while Habitat works alongside them to build their forever home.
We are extremely excited to be able to bring a program like this to our community and we can't wait to show you the home as well as our vision for the program.
