About this Event
Join James Frazer, Waterwatch Coordinator from Melbourne Water to learn all about the frogs that can be found in Greater Dandenong. Participants will learn how to identify frog species and record them as part of the 2022 Frog Census.
The event will begin with a Welcome to Country and smoking ceremony by the Bunurong Land Council Aboriginal Corporation.
Participants should bring a torch and dress warmly and wear sturdy boots or enclosed footwear.
Download the Frog Census app prior to the event, as participants will use this app to record frogs on the night.
Please note: This program will not go ahead in the event of inclement weather (high winds, heavy rain, thunderstorms). Event will proceed if only patchy light rain or drizzle as this is good weather for frogs.
Parking is available via Kriegel Way. Follow the path from the carpark to the wetlands for the program meeting point.
