✨ NEW! Slab Creations – The Wavy Vase Workshop ✨Step into the flow of clay and design with one of our newest slab-building workshops! In this hands-on session, you’ll learn how to create your own multi-functional wavy piece — choose between a sculptural wavy triple vase or a playful wavy triple cup to hold whatever treasures, tools, or “stuff” you love. Guided by the incredible local artist Liz Thiessen, this workshop blends creativity, function, and beautiful organic form. Whether you’re brand new to clay or already hooked, you’ll leave with a unique handmade piece that’s as practical as it is eye-catching.

Workshop Highlights:
Session One – The Wavy Vase:
During the initial workshop, you’ll receive premium pottery clay to design and sculpt your slab-built wavy triple vase or wavy triple cup set from start to finish.
🖌️ Tools & Materials Included:
Access professional sculpting tools and materials to shape, curve, and refine your piece throughout the session.
🎨 Expert Instruction:
Learn slab-building techniques, shaping methods, and finishing tips from local artist Liz Thiessen in a relaxed, supportive studio environment.
⏳ Drying & First Kiln Firing:
After the workshop, your piece will remain in our care for several weeks while it fully dries and completes its first kiln (bisque) firing.
Session Two – Complimentary Glazing:
Once your piece has completed its first firing, you’ll enjoy a FREE glazing session, bookable during our public drop-in hours. Add colour, personality, and finishing touches before its final firing.
🔥 Final Kiln Firing:
Your wavy creation will be professionally fired to ensure a durable, functional, and beautifully finished piece.
