About this Event
It’s hard being a new teacher! Stepping into the classroom on your own for the first time can be tough, intimidating, and frankly, overwhelming! New Teacher Networking is meant to empower and nurture new teachers as they embark on their educational journey. Crafted with the purpose of fostering a supportive and inclusive community, these monthly workshops provide a safe and engaging space for new educators to connect, share experiences, and seek guidance.
As the creator and host of these sessions, I aim to make new teachers feel more comfortable in the classroom by:
- Providing time and space for new educators to connect with each other through team-building, conversation, and questions
- Introducing new instructional strategies to try
- Engaging with specific topics and/or current trends in education
- Providing practical ready-to-use materials/resources
- Providing opportunities for reflecting on our own practice
