Welcome to this very first Biodanza session launching up again in Northern Rivers - the first of what will be a regular offering in Brunswick Heads and Corndale. If you've never heard of Biodanza and are curious to know more then please feel free to explore the community website www.biodanza.com.au AND I will say that for me and many, it is best EXPERIENCED!!!
Briefly, however you will arrive into a warm, open and accepting space. You will have time to settle and sit in a circle to hear the invitation of the session based on the biocentric principles of Biodanza. And then we will dance ... no choreography steps, and nothing to follow or "get right" ... purely invitations to encourage you to express yourself in the way that you need.
Come with comfy clothes that you like to move in and no shoes are required (and barefoot recommended).
This is a place to connect, open, feel yourself, express yourself as you are in the moment and most importantly a place to simply BE.
You will be taken through a journey of movement that intends to nourish each person in the very best way possible.
The "theme" for this session is MOVING IN THE JOY OF NOW.
Dancing life in the eternal unfolding of the now is something many of us are playing with and swinging in and out of often. It is so simple and yet also sometimes quite elusive. Distractions and addictions of all sorts can easily lead us away from this quiet, joyful resting place. This movement session will take us on a journey to the NOW of the moment we are in!
I will be your facilitator. My name is Tracy-Kim and I have moved from the Gold Coast to the Byron Hinterland and look forward to connecting with this community and sharing this system of movement and holistic integration with this community. Please bring a friend. First session is always free to try out this experience.
