NEW Daytime BOM. This will be once a month 10-1pm. The first Progressors Patchwork Workshop will be Shadow Patchwork. This is a great block to practise your cutting skills, for me to get to know your patchwork level and for you to get to know me 😁 Whatever this class ends up doing my hope is that it's fun...full of friendship and skill building...The coloured squares are 5" so you could use a Charm Pack, scraps or yardage. Up to you as to your colour theme. I've gone Christmas. You could be thinking Easter or just something to coordinate in your house 🤷🏼♀️
Your background fabric should be plain and light...white or cream.
Your shadow colour will depend on your background. If using white then darker shades of grey or black will look good. For cream you could go brown. Whatever colour, you want plain or you will lose the effect (I've used black bumbleberry which I count as plain).
I know you now want to ask about quantities but I can't answer that! It will depend on what you plan to make....will it be a cushion cover, bag, table runner, lap quilt, super king size quilt? Or are you just going to make a small sample? You decide the size and ensure you have sufficient supplies.
Bring your sewing machine and threads, fabric, sewing kit, 24" x 18" cutting mat, rotary cutter and rulers (at least your 24" x 6" but square rulers if you have them - I will have some squares available to use)
£35 to include hot drinks throughout and cake. To book click ‘Going’ and PM Ditzy Rose or email [email protected] full payment at the time of booking.
