Join us for our Grand Opening Event celebrating the NEW PLAYGROUND at Christianson Familyland in Jim Barnett Park! There will be rock painting, face painting, bubbles, crafts, DJ, food trucks ($) and of course, playground fun! Ribbon cutting at 11AM. Folks from the Shenandoah Valley Discovery Museum will be hosting an interactive Color Walk along the Story Walk in celebration of their 30th anniversary! Bring or wear a white t-shirt for the color walk... all ages welcome! Walk starts approximately 11:45AM. Event is free and open to the public!
