Lebanon Picture Frame & Fine Art Gallery is proud to present the newest body of work by nationally recognized local oil painter Robert Heilman. Heilman is a cornerstone of the Lebanon County art community and one of Lebanon County’s most accomplished and respected artists. The exhibition will be on view throughout October and November beginning with an opening reception on First Friday October 3 2025 from 5–8 PM and remaining on exhibit until Saturday November 29 2025.Recognized for his masterful treatment of light and shadow Heilman’s paintings in oil are often described as photo-realistic. Yet to the artist his work is not about replicating a scene with technical precision but about capturing its presence and substance. His subjects—ranging from quiet nocturnal townscapes to serene pastoral landscapes—are rendered with a sensitivity that evokes both stillness and intimacy.
Intentionally absent of human figures Heilman’s paintings resist narrative interpretation. Instead they invite viewers to experience the essential qualities of place: its mood its atmosphere and the emotions it stirs. His newest works continue this exploration offering viewers another opportunity to engage with art that lingers in memory long after it is seen.
