The St. Louis experimental and improvisational music and movement art communities are bursting with activity and new forms of expression. At Greenfinch you will see four performances, about 20-30 minutes each, with a brief intermission between the second and third acts. There will be dancers, movement artists, musicians, lights, and costumes, coordinated moments and continually improvised phrases.
Featuring:
- Karin Bliznik (KBLIZO) and Brooking Caldwell (trumpet and words)
- Jane Tellini (movement piece with 9 dancers)
- Alex Cunningham (solo violin)
- Zach TBD (movement piece with 4 dancers, prepared and live music accompaniment, lights, costumes, and rope)
Proceeds will be donated to St. Louis Sudbury School, which offers self-directed education prioritizing young people's well-being, self-awareness, and ability to connect with those around them.
