About this Event

🌑 In a Sacred Space: Egyptian Blue Lotus New Moon Ceremony 🌸

You are invited into a sacred evening of stillness and remembrance, guided by the gentle presence of the Egyptian Blue Lotus — a revered plant teacher known for her heart-opening and consciousness-expanding gifts.

As we sip the tea made from her flowers, you will be offered quiet space to meditate with her spirit as your guide — inviting you to reconnect with the deep well of wisdom already within you.

Katie was shown by the spirit of this plant that New Moons are especially potent portals for receiving higher streams of consciousness. Together, in circle, we honor this truth with breathwork, guided meditation, and intention-setting beneath the stars.

This is a space of reverence — an invitation to slow down, turn inward, and reawaken awe for the unseen magic of the world around (and within) you.

STRUCTURE OF THE NIGHT

We will be meeting and connecting with each other for about 45 minutes to slow down, settle our energy, and prepare our energy for the ceremony. We will come out of the ceremony with enough time to journal about the experience and share within the circle what remembrance Blue Lotus offered each of us.

Please plan on eating dinner before you attend (preferably finished eating by 6pm so you're food is partially digested by the time you arrive). The event is going late into the evening because Egyptian Blue Lotus is a dream worker, and your personal experience will continue even into the night as you sleep.

Please come with a journal, a pen, and wearing lose fitting comfortable clothing.

Come just as you are. Leave with something ancient remembered.

Egyptian Blue Lotus (Nymphaea caerulea) is a sacred plant historically used in ceremonial and spiritual contexts for its calming and heart-opening properties. The tea served during this gathering is gentle and non-intoxicating, intended to support meditation, relaxation, and inner connection. It is legal for personal use in most countries, including the United States.

As with any botanical, please consult your healthcare provider if you are pregnant, nursing, on medications, or have concerns. Participation is voluntary, and you are always welcome to attend without consuming the tea.

It is encouraged, but optional to bring an offering for the land we are hosting our ceremony on.

Offerings to the land are acts of gratitude and respect, these offerings are made to honor the earth, its spirits, or deities, and to strengthen one's connection with nature.

Types of Offerings:

  • Natural items:Flowers, leaves, stones, feathers, crystals, seeds, food, water, tobacco, and local honey are common.
  • Handcrafted items:Tokens, clay ornaments, wind chimes, bird feeders, or small crystals with personal significance.
  • Actions: Singing, drumming, dancing, prayers, and even acts of service like cleaning up litter

Why Offerings Matter

  • To express gratitude: For the gifts the land provides, such as food, shelter, and natural resources.
  • To show respect: For the spirits of the land, ancestors, or deities associated with nature.
  • To foster a connection: With the natural world and create a sense of reciprocity and harmony.
  • To invite blessings: For oneself, one's community, or the land itself.
