About this Event

New Moon Creativity Yoga Flow
Overview

Step into the energy of the new moon through reflection, asana (movement), pranayama (breath work), and yoga nidra (deep rest).

This beginner-friendly practice is designed to help you reconnect with your inner creativity, intuition, and emotional clarity through a blend of:

  • gentle yoga flow
  • pranayama (breathwork)
  • guided creative reflection
  • restorative movement
  • yoga nidra meditation

The new moon represents a pause before emergence — a space for planting intentions, listening inward, and reconnecting with what wants to unfold in your life.

Rather than focusing on performance or perfection, this class invites softness, curiosity, embodiment, and creative exploration.

Creativity here is not limited to art-making; it can also mean imagining new possibilities for your life, relationships, healing, work, and self-expression.

This class is intentionally designed to be inclusive and accessible to a wide range of experience levels. Modifications and variations will be offered throughout the practice.

What to expect

The class may include:

  • grounding breathwork and nervous system regulation
  • reflective journaling prompts before and after practice
  • gentle lunar-inspired yoga flow
  • mindful and intuitive movement
  • restorative postures
  • guided yoga nidra for creative inspiration and deep rest
  • optional intention-setting ritual

Expect a slower, nourishing atmosphere with opportunities for both movement and stillness.

Who this is for

This class is open to:

  • beginners and experienced practitioners
  • creatives, thinkers, caregivers, and anyone feeling mentally overwhelmed or creatively blocked
  • anyone seeking rest, inspiration, emotional grounding, or mindful community
  • people interested in yoga beyond fitness-focused spaces

You do not need to be “flexible,” spiritual, artistic, or experienced in yoga to attend.

All bodies, backgrounds, identities, and experience levels are welcome.

Potential outcomes

Participants may leave feeling:

  • more grounded and emotionally regulated
  • creatively inspired or mentally clearer
  • deeply rested
  • more connected to intuition and self-expression
  • softer, calmer, and more present in their bodies
