Join us for a relaxing and uplifting evening of chanting meditation—a joyful, heart-opening practice of singing sacred mantras with music.
This simple yet powerful form of meditation helps awaken inner happiness, cultivate spiritual connection between the soul and the Supreme Soul, and bring a sense of calm and clarity to the mind.
In a world that moves fast, chanting meditation (kirtan) offers an easy and meaningful way to slow down, be present, and feel inspired.
Our Sunday session includes:
-Guided mantra meditation & kirtan
-A welcoming, friendly atmosphere
-Delicious vegetarian dinner
-Time to connect with like-minded people, or simply enjoy a restorative evening
Whether you’re new to meditation or already have a practice, you’re warmly invited to come along and experience it for yourself.
WHAT IS KIRTAN
Kirtan meditation is the hearing and singing of mantras or sacred sounds. Weaving together music, melody and mantra, kirtan is an interactive experience which is both meditative and joyful. While meditation is often seen as a solitary practice of trying to empty the mind, kirtan meditation offers a powerful alternative—an easy and effective group meditation that relaxes the body, calms the mind and uplifts our hearts. Kirtan nourishes our deepest needs; inner peace, spiritual happiness, freedom from fear, and heartfelt connection with others and the Supreme Soul.
