Are you apprehensive about the future of immigration policy? How will it affect New York City’s immigrant population —and what will the impact be on our communities? Don’t miss this free, interactive event hosted by the Asylum Support Clinic (ASC) in partnership with the “In The Sanctuary” community event series of Rutgers Presbyterian Church.
Hear from immigration expert Muzaffar Chishti, Senior Fellow of the Migration Policy Institute and Director of its office at the NYU School of Law. He’ll discuss the potential shifts in policy and how they will impact asylum seekers, refugees, and those who support them. An audience Q&A will follow. Plus, you’ll hear directly from asylum seekers who will share their personal stories and tell us how ASC has helped them.
Space is limited, so come early to get a good seat!
