Welcome to New Generation Steel Orchestra Presents.. Winter Block 2024! Join us for an exciting display of young musical talent at Ark Burlington Danes Academy. Get ready for a night filled with amazing steel pan music performances, by some of the UK's finest youth steel bands. On the night you'll be entertained by New Generation junior and youth bands, BDA steel band, Glissando Youth Band, Mangrove Youth, Southside Harmonics, Croydon Steel Orchestra, and Endurance Youth Steel Orchestra, with a special guest performance by Romaya, and music provided by the one and only DJ Candypop. With the tastiest Caribbean food on sale, and an array of local venders selling unique and bespoke products, this event provides everything you need for a fantastic Friday! Bring your family, friends and your dancing shoes - mark your calendars and come ready to have a ball at Winter Block 2024!
This event serves as a fundraiser, with all proceeds going towards our annual European trip, spreading the sounds of sweet steel pan to other parts of Europe, and providing new and exciting opportunities for our band members.
