CAPM New Exam Eligibility
The eligibility criteria for the Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) certification, as set by the Project Management Institute (PMI), are as follows:
1. Secondary Education: A high school diploma or an associate's degree (or global equivalent) is required to be eligible for the CAPM certification.
AND
2. Project Management Education: You must complete 23 hours of formal project management education. This education must cover topics aligned with project management principles and practices, as defined in the PMBOK® Guide - Sixth Edition or later.
OR
3. Work Experience: If you don't meet the formal project management education requirement, you can still be eligible if you have at least 1,500 hours of professional experience on a project team. This work experience should be accumulated within the past three years.
