NEW! B.Y.O.P. - Bring Your Own Piece to Hand Chainstitch Embroidery

Join us for a hands-on, creative embroidery workshop where you’ll learn the art of hand chainstitching to personalize your own clothing.

In this session, participants will bring their own unlined sweatshirt or denim garment and transform it into a unique, wearable piece of art.

You’ll choose from a curated collection of design templates—such as stars, moons, suns, hearts, fruits, and florals—then learn how to properly position your design and transfer it onto your garment using a temporary fabric marker.

From there, you’ll be guided step-by-step through the chainstitch embroidery technique, selecting from a range of embroidery floss colors to bring your design to life.

Each participant will receive an embroidery hoop, needle, and access to a variety of thread colors. By the end of the workshop, you’ll have completed (or started) a custom motif and gained the skills to continue embellishing your clothing at home.

Additional Information:

• Basic sewing or hand-stitching knowledge is recommended, but beginners are welcome.
• If you’re new to embroidery, you can request an introductory packet in advance to help you prepare.

Depending on the size and complexity of your design and your stitching pace, completing one motif may take approximately one hour.

Participants are encouraged to continue working on their pieces after the workshop if needed.
