Monday 8th July -Saturday 13th July 2024C-Change are proud to be hosting the New Brighton Arts Festival as part of Wirral’s ‘Borough of Culture’ activities this year, bringing you an exciting, week-long celebration of the Arts. from Monday 8-13th July across various locations New Brighton.
Events throughout the week are designed to bring our local community together, providing a platform for local children, adults and professional artists to collaborate and perform together, culminating in the incredible ‘One Community Street Party’ in the Victoria Quarter in New Brighton on Saturday 13th July 11am-9pm a free family festival for the whole community to enjoy!
Events across the week range from choir performances, a commissioned piece of theatre about New Brighton, a comedy night, an evening of spoken word, a showcase of amazing bands from across the borough and will finish with a free family festival on Victoria Rd; headlined by the chart-topping Liverpool band ‘Space’, who famously sang ‘Female of the Species’ and ‘The Ballad of Tom Jones’ in the 90’s.
At the finale on Sat 13th July there will be 2 live stages of music, dance and entertainment; a kids and creative zone, both with a wealth of free activities for children, there will be live street art being created by famous street artists, performances from the renowned Samba Livre Liverpool Brazilian Dancers, the Katumba Drummers and Movema Dance who will be hosting live dance workshops; and a whole host of local amazing artist showcasing amazing dance performances and live music.

It will be great fun, there is some incredible talent in our communities and the Arts are the best ways for us to all express ourselves. We always make it our greatest ambition to put as much on free for people and families to access. We really hope it brings people together, to sing, dance and make happy memories.”
