🙌 Last class, we got into the basics of Charleston together, and it was so fun to see everyone find their groove. Charleston is one of the early styles of swing dance. Simple in rhythm but fast and full of energy, it’s known for quick kicks, syncopated rhythms, and the fun inward/outward twist of the feet. It’s the dance you think of when you picture a flapper girl.
