This workshop is led by Access Cornwall CIC and is suitable for team members or managers who want to learn more about neurodiversity and what adaptations can be made to make business more accessible - for team members or members of the public with a neurodiversity.
This workshop will provide an introduction to neurodiversity and exercises to support getting the language right, additionally the session includes a immersive story/sensory experience and useful tools/strategies for the workplace.
The session will cover:
- What is neurodiversity
- Common diagnoses - Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia
- The language
- Immersive story and sensory experience
- Useful strategies and tools for the workplace
- Q&A with ND Ambassadors
About Access Cornwall CIC
Access Cornwall CIC are not for profit organisation led by a team of people with lived experience of disabilities who create videos, blogs and content to showcase accessible opportunities around Cornwall. Their sister company the Assocation of Accessible Employers CIC also provides CPD accredited training & resources to help employers remove barriers to the workplace and to support individuals who live with disabilities and learning differences. The team are very experienced and the training is delivered by individuals with lived experience of a variety of disabilities, learning differences and neurodiversity .
