Neurodiversity in the workplace: sensitive and effective performance management
Line managers often find that managing the performance of their team members is one of the most challenging aspects of the role, with the result that difficult conversations are avoided. In our experience, this can result in problems becoming entrenched and disputes arising further down the line.
In this Early Bird session, we will be looking at the issue of performance management, with a particular focus on neurodiverse employees and those with mental health conditions, where employers need to approach the issue of performance with particular sensitivity and understanding. The session will include a case study and practical insights on dealing with performance management issues, including a consideration of what adjustments might be necessary to your standard procedures.
As usual, our Early Bird session will also provide a round-up of recent legislative changes and significant case law, to help you keep on top of the latest employment law developments.
