About this Event
Join us at Radiant Living Center to start the new year off right!
This month, our friends at Radiant Living Center will guide us on two different energy-healing practices, a heart-opening cacao and a sound journey. All meant to leave us feeling renewed and refreshed, and ready to embrace the new year!
Qigong is a movement meditation similar to Tai Chi that works to harmonize the body, breath, mind and spirit. It is a health practice derived from ancient Chinese martial arts practices and consists of coordinating breath with gentle movements. Gwyn will lead us in Qigong forms that are designed to help bring balance to the body’s nervous system.
Pure ceremonial cacao is a natural superfood that studies have shown to positively affect focus, mood, and behavioral qualities in adults and children. In addition to offering the opportunity to try some delicious cacao, Jenn Bierma, a certified cacao practitioner, will share some of the benefits and science behind cacao and how it is used with adults and children with neurodevelopmental conditions.
Meridians are energy pathways in our body that feed our organs and energy systems. With the modern environment, technology, and health ailments, our meridians get overloaded many times, causing stemming, inability to focus, anxiety, and many other symptoms. Rocksye will show us ways to develop a relationship with our meridians. Working with them, we can aid in removing blockages, alleviating pain and many ailments, and guiding the body to health, vitality, and balance.

This monthly social is a fun, safe, inclusive gathering that promotes socialization, connection, and friendship with those like you!
If you feel you're alone, you're not! We're here to greet you with open arms, as you are, because who you are is valid and deserves confirmation.
We encourage this social to be for autistic/neurodivergent/disabled adults only so we can have a space that is ours, have autonomy, and unmask. If you are a parent, we encourage you to drop off and pick up so we can keep the space for autistic/neurodivergent/disabled adults.
Socialization is good for your mental health and promotes wellness in numerous ways. Those with neurodivergence have a high risk of suicidality, and our socials aim to prevent that by providing a safe place where people can be themselves, make real connections, and feel seen.
