Welcome to Kansas City's first-ever Neuro-Queer Prom! Many neurodivergent and queer individuals missed out on the classic high school prom experience due to sensory overwhelm, masking, or a lack of acceptance.

We are reclaiming that milestone. Hosted by Zero Masking Mentors (ZMM), this intimate, sensory-friendly celebration is designed specifically for neurodivergent LGBTQIA+ adults. Instead of blinding strobe lights and packed crowds, our night features a low-sensory environment, low-volume music, and a safe space to unmask and celebrate Queer Joy.

ZMM is a grassroots social enterprise dedicated to decreasing burnout and building a thriving community for Neurodivergent LGBTQIA+ folks.

This prom is our inaugural proof-of-concept fundraiser. We are completely community-backed, relying on the incredible support of local KC businesses and attendees to make this night a reality. 100% of the proceeds from our sponsorship tickets, general admission, and raffles will provide the vital seed funding needed for ZMM to secure our nonprofit fiscal sponsorship. Achieving this will allow us to transition into a 501(c)(3) nonprofit structure and serve Kansas City on a much larger scale.
